How To Get a Perfect Edge on your Lawn

Edging is the final step to complete lawn perfection. It’s the frosting on the cake, the finishing touch to the ideal attire. Keep the edges neat, no matter how messy the rest of the garden is or how much work the lawn itself needs. Everything will look a thousand times better.

Start by sharpening and redefining the lawn’s edges using a half-moon edger in the spring, especially because they will have grown shaggy over the winter. If you need to, you can use these clippings to help cover holes and bare patches in the rest of the lawn. Once you’ve redefined the edge, you should only need to use a pair of long-handled edging shears once a week or once every two weeks to maintain everything neat and clean.
